Princess Marie José of Belgium was born Marie José Charlotte Sophie Amélie Henriette Gabrielle to Albert I of Belgium and Elisabeth of Bavaria. She married Umberto II of Italy, who was born Umberto Nicola Tommaso Giovanni Maria di Savoia, and they were nicknamed "The May Queen and King" because their reign was only 35 days long.
